Why are 'employee identification numbers (IDs)' needed for Time Clock Integration?

During the process of importing your time clock file on the Payroll Entry screen, Time Clock Integration correlates the employees' identification numbers (IDs) in your time clock file with the IDs in online payroll. The ID number is a unique identifier. If an employee's ID in your time clock file is not identical to the ID in the payroll system, the employee will not be recognized in the time clock file upload into payroll, and their earning will not correspond to the employee.
