Should I print payroll checks from payroll system or from QuickBooks?

You may print checks from either your online payroll system or QuickBooks. We recommend, however, that you print checks using our check-printing functionality.

Printing checks out of your QuickBooks software will create a duplicate entry in your company file for the amount of each check (one for the check you created from QuickBooks and one from the payroll data file). This will require you to manually delete one of the entries.
