Enhanced Security Questions

How do I set up Enhanced Security?

Upon logging into your account or during the enrollment process, you will receive a prompt that will guide you through the steps necessary to receive a verification code through text message, or voice. Note, while you can use landline number for the voice option, you will only be able to receive text message notifications on a mobile device.

What if I don’t want to use Enhanced Security?

While we understand that some may see Enhanced Security as a minor inconvenience, we feel it is well worth the extra security and protection your account will receive. As such, we are making Enhanced Security mandatory for all customers.

Once multi-factor authentication is in place, we’re confident it will not interfere with our easy-to-use, time-saving payroll product.

I used to be required to answer security questions - why have these gone away?

In some cases, we previously used a series of security questions and answers to verify that only authorized users could access an account. However, our new verification process is much easier and just as secure as the old method.

Do my employees also receive Enhanced Security?

Yes. Your employees will go through a very similar process to set up Enhanced Security if they have access to the Employee Portal. This includes updating their passwords, or providing a phone number and receiving a verification code to access their accounts.

How do I change my phone number associated with my payroll account so I may receive text messages or a voice authorization?

After logging into your payroll account, click your name at the top right of the Dashboard, then click “User Profile”. You will be able to edit your phone number there.

What if I lose my mobile phone or am unable to receive a text message verification code?

Contact Customer Care and provide more information so we can confirm your eligibility to access the account.  If you unsubscribed from our text messages you can text SUBSCRIBE to 39662 to receive text messages again.
