What is Accountant Access?
Accountant Access is a feature that allows your accountant to access your payroll reports directly so you don't have to print them or email them out. It doesn't give your accountant access to run payroll or make any changes on your payroll account. Your accountant needs to request access through the Accountant Dashboard, and you can grant or deny that access.
Will my accountant be able to print my reports?
Yes, your accountant can view as well as print your payroll reports available to them through Accountant Access.
Can I give view access to more than one accountant?
No, only one accountant may be permitted view access to your payroll account.
How does turning "OFF" Accountant Access differ from REMOVING an accountant's view-access?
Turning “OFF” view access will not remove your accountant’s name from your account, but it will prevent them from viewing your account. You can turn view access “ON” at any time, enabling them to view your account again. If you “REMOVE” an accountant from your account, the accountant is disconnected from your account.If you want to give that access back, your accountant will need to request it again.
Will my accountant or I be charged a fee for using the Accountant Access feature?
No, Accountant Access is free to both you and your accountant.
How does my accountant obtain viewing access to my account?
Your accountant can request view access using their Accountant Dashboard. Once they request access, you will receive an email directing you how to approve or deny that request.
What information will my accountant see with Accountant Access?
Your accountant will see select reports, including quarterly, annual and W-2 reports, basic company and employee information, your payroll schedule, and your selected earnings and deductions. They will not see your or your employees' bank information.
Will my accountant be able to change payroll data in my account?
No. With Accountant Access, your accountant will simply be able to view selected information in your account. They will not be permitted to change your payroll data.
