What is Expedited Payroll Processing?
If you missed your scheduled payroll approval date and you still want to pay your employees on your regular check date, you may be able to keep that check date using expedited payroll processing.
If you are eligible for expedited payroll processing, the day after your scheduled payroll approval date, you'll be offered the opportunity to select your regular check date when you begin or continue to enter your payroll.
What is the Deadline to Select an Expedited Check Date?
You can select an expedited check date and approve payroll up until 3 PM Central the day after your scheduled approval date. After that time, you'll need to select a non-expedited check date from the menu.
What Happens if I Change from my Expedited Check Date and Want to get it Back?
If you've selected an expedited check date then changed it to a regular check date, you can get it back by using the calendar on the Payroll Entry screen. Simply click the check date and select it from the available check dates.
